Financial Analysis - 2016 Social Program
Protectora de la Infancia is a non-profit charity institution that was founded in 1894 to take care of orphaned children, by taking care of their basic food, cloth and shelter needs. Over the decades, it has expanded to include the assistance in inclusion to society, development, and the practice of justice and equality in their rights. This institution includes in its areas of work, the design and application of educational programs that positively impact the family environment of minors.
Today, La Protectora has 54 educational and social programs in seven regions of the country, serving more than 8,500 children and young people, their families and communities.
One of the projects developed by La Protectora is “Living as a Family”. This is a program which seeks to help support parents, mothers and other parent figures in the exercise of their role, developing and strengthening their resources and skills, in order for them to better achieve their role as a parent, preventing situations of vulnerability within families.
The Credicorp Capital Foundation provided advisory services to the “Living as a Family” Program, carrying out financial cost analysis.
